Submission Guidelines
Potential presenters should submit an abstract of no more than 250 words and a biographical statement of no more than 200 words.
Single Paper Proposal Guidelines
Papers should be designed to be delivered in no more than 15 minutes. A two-minute grace period is allowed, but panel chairs have the right to firmly halt a presentation that gets to 17 minutes in length
Panel Proposal Guidelines
Panels with three papers should be designed for 60 minutes (three 15-minute papers, 15 minutes Q&A). Panels with four papers should be designed for 75 minutes (four 15-minute papers, 15 minutes Q&A). Proposals for panels should include an abstract for each paper, along with contact information and a biographical statement for each presenter.
Deadlines
Submissions are considered and accepted on a rolling basis from now through the final submission deadline of 11:59 PM (US Eastern time) on December 30, 2024. The latest notice of acceptance is 11:59 PM (US Eastern time) on January 15, 2025.
Presentation Mode
Presentations must be delivered in person at the conference venue. Online presenting is not an available option.
Language
Papers may be presented in English or Irish. The Conference does not provide translation services between the two languages. Should a presenter wish, they may distribute printed copies of their paper in the language not being used for live delivery to session attendees .
Venue Capabilities
Each session location will have a Windows laptop computer projecting onto a wall screen. Audio will play only through the laptop speakers unless a presenter makes specific arrangements with the Conference Committee before February 1, 2025. Presenters may show PowerPoint slides and video; but these must be copied to the projecting laptop, not downloaded from the web, since these computers will NOT have internet access.
